Funeral Home or Family Home?
To the service. Standing sprays, wreaths and hearts are displayed at the funeral home, church or cemetery chapel. Include the name of the person who passed and the service time so the staff can place them.
To the family home. A vase arrangement or an orchid plant can be sent at any time in the weeks after a loss, including after the service.

Funeral Flowers by Tradition
Flowers are welcome at the vigil or rosary and at the funeral. Standing sprays, wreaths and cross-shaped arrangements are traditional. Some churches limit flowers inside the sanctuary during Mass, so larger pieces may be displayed at the funeral home or graveside.
Flowers are an important part of an Armenian funeral, often large standing arrangements and wreaths with a ribbon naming the sender. Flowers are also brought to the memorial on the 40th day and on the one-year anniversary.
Korean: white chrysanthemums are the traditional flower of mourning, and tall standing wreaths with a ribbon banner carrying the sender's name are common.
Chinese: white and yellow chrysanthemums and white lilies are traditional. Avoid red and bright, festive colors.
Large arrangements and wreaths are common at the service and at the family's memorial gatherings, such as the seventh-day and 40th-day observances. White roses and gladioli are frequent choices.
Flowers are not customary at Jewish funerals. Friends send food, fruit or a gift basket to the family's home during shiva, the week of mourning after the funeral. Browse our gifts or call us to put together a shiva basket.

Celebration of Life Flowers
A celebration of life often takes place at home, in a garden, a restaurant or a club, and the flowers can be brighter and more personal than at a traditional funeral. We design entry arrangements, table centerpieces, a floral frame for the photo display and flowers for the guest book table, then deliver, set up and remove them after the gathering.

Delivery is free up to 5 miles from our Beverly Hills studio. Beyond that it is $20 for 5–10 miles, $40 for 10–20 miles and $50 for 20–30 miles, up to $100 for 50–60 miles. The exact fee is calculated at checkout.
