Audi Nuvolari Los Angeles Presentation: Custom Floral Design by Casa Dei Fiori

The Audi Nuvolari is more than a new supercar. It represents a new chapter in Audi’s approach to technology, performance, and design. And its presentations around the world have been conceived with the same level of precision.

For a private Audi Nuvolari presentation in Los Angeles, Casa Dei Fiori was entrusted with creating a custom floral concept for the event at The Stanley House in West Hollywood.

We didn’t want the flowers to feel like an add-on. The goal was to make them feel like a natural part of the space and the presentation, with a look that reflected the character of the Nuvolari and worked with the architecture around it.

The Audi Nuvolari: A Supercar Created for a New Era

The Nuvolari is the fastest and most powerful production vehicle in Audi history.

Its high-performance hybrid powertrain produces 1,001 PS, the car can exceed 350 km/h, and production is limited to just 499 vehicles worldwide. Audi describes the Nuvolari as both a technology showcase and a design flagship, combining motorsport expertise, innovative aerodynamics, a newly developed Audi Space Frame, and a carbon exterior.

Its significance goes beyond performance figures.

Audi sees the Nuvolari as a sign of where the brand is heading next: combining new technology with a fresh take on Vorsprung durch Technik. What makes the story even more impressive is how quickly it came together: the car went from the first sketch to a drivable prototype in just 405 days, with Audi’s Formula 1 drivers also taking part in its development and testing.

The Nuvolari made its world premiere in Antibes in the South of France before appearing at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Monaco. It later made its North American public debut during Monterey Car Week, where it was presented at The Quail and the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance Concept Lawn before taking to California roads for the first time.

The Los Angeles presentation gave guests a more intimate way to experience the Nuvolari, placing the car in a setting that felt elevated and naturally suited to the city.

An International Launch Where Flowers Became Part of the Story

The creative ambition surrounding the Nuvolari extended far beyond the automobile itself.

For its world premiere, Audi’s production partner ECD International assembled what it describes as a global network of world-leading creatives, artisans, technical specialists, and luxury partners. The launch involved transporting two tonnes of fresh flowers from Japan and creating a monumental multifunctional floral installation as part of the guest experience.

That detail is significant.

Flowers were not treated as an afterthought around the Nuvolari. Floral art became part of the creative language used to introduce the car.

Within this international context, Casa Dei Fiori was selected to develop the floral design for the Audi Nuvolari presentation in Los Angeles.

For our team, this meant approaching the project at the level of a luxury product launch rather than conventional event decoration. Every arrangement needed to have a reason for being there.

The Stanley House: A Setting Designed Around Detail

The Los Angeles presentation took place at The Stanley House, positioned high above the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood.

Kravitz Design was responsible for the residence’s creative direction, working across its interior and exterior materials, landscaping, furnishings, appliances, and other architectural details throughout three floors of living space. The house overlooks both the city and the ocean and combines warm natural wood, stone, dark architectural surfaces, expansive glazing, and restrained contemporary lines.

It was an especially appropriate environment for the Nuvolari.

Both the residence and the automobile are defined by precision rather than excess. Materials, proportions, surfaces, and details do the visual work.

The florals therefore needed to respect the architecture instead of competing with it.

Translating the Audi Nuvolari Into Floral Design

The Casa Dei Fiori concept centered on a controlled palette of white, yellow, silver, deep green, and black.

Each color and material was chosen to connect the floral installations to the character of the car and the environment surrounding it.

White calla lilies provided the foundation of the design. Their sculptural form and clean, curved silhouette introduced a sense of movement without becoming traditionally romantic. They felt architectural, almost aerodynamic.

Silver-toned botanical elements added a colder, more technical quality to the arrangements, visually referencing the metallic and carbon surfaces associated with the Nuvolari.

Matte black vessels anchored the compositions and connected them to the darker architectural finishes throughout The Stanley House.

Against this restrained foundation, yellow floral accents brought energy into the installations.

The yellow was not intended simply as a decorative pop of color. It represented performance, movement, electricity, and the energy of a high-performance machine.

Strong vertical botanical elements reinforced the concept further. Their graphic lines introduced structure and precision, while the natural movement of flowers and foliage prevented the arrangements from feeling static.

The result was not traditional luxury floristry.

It was botanical architecture.

Creating the Los Angeles Chapter of the Nuvolari Story

From a monumental floral installation at the world premiere in the South of France to an intimate architectural environment above the Sunset Strip, the Nuvolari has been presented through experiences that extend far beyond the automobile itself.

Being entrusted with the floral concept for its Los Angeles presentation gave Casa Dei Fiori the opportunity to contribute to that broader international creative story.

For us, the project demonstrated something we strongly believe:

Exceptional event floristry should not simply decorate the room. It should help tell the story of what is being presented.

For the Audi Nuvolari, that story was about technology, precision, performance, and the future.

Our task was to express it through flowers.
